When things took a turn, I stepped outside my own expectations and began a journey that would teach me an unforgettable lesson.

Everything was different. This career I had committed to for the past decade completely changed in an unbelievably short time, and my heart was no longer in it.

After graduating with a degree in hospitality, I jumped right into the industry out of college. I lived in several major cities across the country, managing different hotels as a Director of Revenue, and I loved what I did. It took me to New York, Chicago, Seattle, and many more places before bringing me back to Florida, where I grew up.

When the recession hit in 2008, it shifted all our lives and had an unexpected impact on my own career. Suddenly, my work became less about people, and more about numbers. What had once been a passion became a lot less fun, and that passion slowly drained away drop by drop. At first, I stuck it out, hoping for the best, but by 2011 I started seeing signs that it was time for me to move on.

I was in my forties and not looking for a career change at the time, but again and again all signs pointed to leaving and starting a new path. In 2016, I could not ignore what the universe was telling me any longer and left my career in hospitality to become a full-time REALTOR®. It was the last thing I expected to do with my life, especially after so many years in the same field, but it has taken me on a wonderful journey.

As an entrepreneur, I was suddenly my own boss and had to figure out how to succeed on my own. To do that, I had to first examine who I really was underneath all my layers and what I truly wanted. In that process, I began a healing journey that changed everything for me.

In the beginning, I knew I was on the right path because I continued to meet more and more individuals who were further along a similar journey to mine. I studied, read, and threw myself completely into my new career helping others. Serving others was something I had done for well over a decade in my previous career, and I enjoyed that in real estate I could play such a huge supporting role during important moments in the lives of my clients.

Without real estate and all the changes to my life that came with it, I do not know where I would be today. It has given me the opportunity to view life differently, and I have been able to keep going with that new perspective even amid extremely difficult personal challenges over the last several years.

I realized that although it is often said that people never change, that is not entirely true. While we may not change from one person to another every day, we can return to the core of who we are, which tends to look a lot like big change. I lost sight of myself for a while, but by doing the unexpected and embracing new perspectives, I have gotten back to the core of who I am.

Real estate and helping others are my passions. I love what I do each day, and my favorite part is helping my clients find their happiness through real estate.

Whether you are buying or selling a home, you have an idea of where you want to go. I’m here to listen and help you get there. I am in it for the long haul with my clients, no matter where you are on your real estate journey.

From just starting to explore your options to making a quick and time-sensitive change, I will be here to support you. Once I know what you are looking for, I will create a plan and uncover every possible solution to fit your lifestyle.

I leave no stone unturned with my clients because this is a huge decision in your life, and it is important to me that you have the confidence you need to make the best choice possible. With my experience in residential and investment real estate, I am confident that I can help you achieve the results you want. Once the transaction is over, I will continue to help you reach all your real estate dreams as your lifelong REALTOR®.
